Zhang Zhao 张照 (1691-1745)
Zhang Zhao was a dignitary in the court of Qianlong 乾隆 (1711-1799). He wrote pieces for
the imperial theater emphasizing the morality of kindness. In calligraphy he is particulary well
known for his cursive or grass style.
